It can actually be recycled
Single-fiber garments can be composted or recycled cleanly. Blended fabrics are difficult or impossible to separate, so most end up in landfill.
No synthetic shedding
Polyester and nylon shed plastic microfibers in every wash. Pure linen, wool, and cotton don't.
